Ben Lawers

Set amongst spectacular scenery, Ben Lawers is Perthshire’s highest mountain with views from the Atlantic to the North Sea.

As a National Nature Reserve it is one of the top places in the UK for mountain plants such as the purple saxifrage.

The area has a National Trust visitor centre, with ranger led walks in summer and an established nature trail.

Walks range from easy to strenuous.

Directions

Minor hill road off the A827, 19 miles/ 31 km west of Aberfeldy.
